NGF Recognized by Wells Fargo’s Days of Giving Program

November 25, 2014 – Cumming, GA – Next Generation Focus has been recognized by Wells Fargo’s Days of Giving Program.

Celebrating its fifth anniversary in Georgia, Well Fargo’s Days of Giving Program has chosen to award seven nonprofits, six of which are based in Cumming, with a $1,000 grant each.

“The collective work of these nonprofits makes a huge impact in our communities”, said Brad McDaniel, district manager for Wells Fargo.  “Our community has a variety of needs and we are honored to support these groups in their efforts to change Forsyth County for the better-one step at a time”.

In an awards ceremony held during a community breakfast on November, 13, six Forsyth non-profit organizations were honored with $1,000 checks.  These groups are:  Abba House, CASA of Forsyth County, Next Generation Focus, No Longer Bound, Partners Against Domestic Violence and The Place of Forsyth.  Amy Sol (Second from the left in the picture above), who is the Executive Director of Next Generation Focus, represented NGF at the ceremony.  For details see here, or here.

About the Next Generation Focus:

We are a public charity that is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Its focus is in providing deserving children the opportunity to participate in educational programs and other life-enrichment activities in which they may not otherwise have access to due to financial restraints. Our enrichment and educational programs include an early literacy program to help children who are struggling with reading and a program to help students with college application essays. We also provide financial assistance to students to participate in enrichment programs offered by school clubs such as sports, music, and art. NGF partners with schools to identify eligible children.
