Next Generation Focus (NGF) is a 501(c)3 community-based organization that was Amy Sol’s brainchild, a Forsyth County, Georgia resident.  Amy has a heart for children, and her passion is to help uplift the future generation.

Our mission is to equip the Next Generation of Leaders by providing educational, relational, and financial resources. Our vision is to foster a community where children and youth can reach their full potential and become contributing members of society. We believe education uplifts students to be successful in school, career, life, and society.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to receive a quality education. Our SmarterMe programs deliver a year-round, high-quality, impactful learning program vital to strengthening our youth to lead successful and healthy lives.

NGF focuses on providing children ages 1 to 18 the opportunity to participate in educational programs and other life-enrichment activities which they may not otherwise be able to access. Our holistic and effective approach goes beyond addressing academics to include the cognitive, physical, and socioemotional well-being of our children. We believe that equipping our children with the skills, education, and socio-emotional support will help the youth of traditionally under-resourced backgrounds build fulfilling lives. NGF partners with schools to identify eligible school-aged children; the students are nominated by social workers, counselors, teachers, and school administrators.

Our SmarterMe Programs:
  • Provide low-to-no-cost, grade-appropriate, and individualized learning acceleration and enrichment activities in reading, mathematics, and STEAM according to school district standards
  • Expose children to new ideas and skills to enhance the development
  • Teach teamwork, leadership, good work ethics, and socialization
  • Promote self-esteem, self-confidence, and respect for others
  • Provide a safe place to make new friends and interact through new experiences

We intentionally recruit local high school teens as our SmarterMe tutors and mentors.  Our teens are the reason our children respond positively to the curriculum created by our wonderful certified teachers. As SmarterMe® volunteers and interns, our teens learn about social responsibility and service-learning and develop the soft and hard skills necessary as they transition into young adulthood.

Since 2007, NGF has served more than 5,600 students and their families. We strive to stretch every dollar for our students.  If you would like to donate time or money, you can find more information under the “Contact Us” tab.
