NGF Wins Donor Match Challenge by Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia

September 20, 2017 – Cumming, GA – Successful fundraising efforts by Next Generation Focus (NGF) has met the goal of $10,000 in the annual donor match challenge sponsored by the Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia (CFNEG).  As a result, NGF will receive $10,000 in matching donation from CFNEG to support its effort in empowering economically and academically disadvantaged kids through academic achievement.

The Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia was founded in 1985 by a group of community-minded citizens to receive and disburse charitable funds for an improved quality of life across northeast Georgia. The Foundation focuses on serving the needs of 10 counties – Gwinnett, Barrow, North Fulton, Forsyth, Clarke, Jackson, Madison, Greene, Oconee, and Walton. CFNEG manages funds held in trust, donated by individuals, organizations, and businesses. Over the past 30 years, the Foundation has given over $56 million back to the community.

NGF’s Executive Director, Amy Sol (pictured above, middle, at the award ceremony), said, “We are thrilled, obviously.  We want to express our thanks to Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia for their support in our cause.  We look forward to putting the donation to fund more students’ tutoring and enrichment activities.”
